Yeah, we're glad to have you joining us Maca. I noticed a bunch of subtleties about the JWs that didn't seem quite right, but I never could put my finger on them.
I guess that ticked me off the most is their pompous attitude that they are so much better than the rest of the world. That may be true in some regards, but a true Christian should be humble about it, not brag about it every meeting.

When my husband passed away 7 years ago, there was an article in the Watchtower a couple months later about "taking care of the Widows and Orphans". I feel that I was the only one to have read it since I was ignored. That made me think that Borg didn't have any love. Of course that wasn't the only time I was ignored by Borg over the years. I can't help it if my father wasn't a "JW"...smart man huh!!
Then there was the time about 10 years ago I shattered my ankle and wasn"t able to make it to the KH for months. I wasn't able to go the the Memorial cuz no one noticed I wasn't there.
I feel that Jehovah was trying to tell me sometime...just took some time to soak in.

I SOOOO know what you mean about the lack of love and caring for Widows, Orphans and the fatherless boys....that was one of the MAJOR issues which finally prompted me to write the letter to the Gov. Potty and get myself df'd....It took me about 10 yrs. to finally realize Jah had opened my eyes to their BS...

While you can argue whether the prodigal son illustration applies to disfellowshipped ones or not, where in the bible does it state that the society has the right to keep files in the branch offices and the Brooklyn headquarters of those disfellowshipped , even after they are reinstated.
Bottom line the Father in the prodigal son illustration did not have to get permission from a judical body to show affection to his son.
