I think it might be Yeru that dropped that bomb, cause his allowed number of posts have been dropped I've heard...

People in Yorkshire can be a bit annoying though so most of the UK will not be too concerned about it

It could have been a disaster though if it had hit a primary school or something !

It could have been a disaster though if it had hit a primary school or something ! --- and also a disaster if it had hit Boddingtons Brewery (and yes I know that is not in Yorkshire)

Apparently, the intended target was Yorkshire's stock of WOMD. (Whippets of mass destruction).

Although the black pudding factory was not in any immediate danger, the cloth cap weaving sheds were. All Yorkshire men twist their cloth caps betwwen their hands (known commonly as "wringing" when begging for a pay rise) in the hope that this will result in them being given more brass.

Coming from Yorkshire is now recognised as a serous psychiatric disorder in which the sufferer commonly has delusions of equality and a conviction that they are the best cricketing side in the country.

For the severely humour imparied, this is a JOKE ! Although the bombing did happen we know it was an accident.

    It was not an accident!!

I have it from an informed source that the U.S. was doing a routine fly-over when they spotted an alien spacecraft making a crop circle, and they tried to annihilate it.

I do recall my Father telling me that he inadvertantly dropped 11 bombs on Georgia.

He learned to fly over there during WW2. Basically he was carrying 12 practise bombs and demonstrating his ability to some examiners who were checking him out.

The idea was that you selected a bomb by flicking it's appropriate switch, then pressed a bomb release button to drop it on the target.

....If only someone had told him that UP is ON in America! He flipped 11 switches UP and 1 switch down with the result that every bomb was released when he pressed the button, except, of course the one he had selected.

The person sat next to me and opposite me at work both come from Yorshire. I told them the US had my full backing in this action.

They said they wouldn't mind if it was Leeds.

I wouldn't mind if they bombed Harrogate. They have this spring there that anyone can drink from..Except that it's sulphur water and your breath smells like dog farts for days afterwards.

    Simon,

The BDU-33 bomb, which weighs 25-pounds and produces smoke on impact, caused an 18-inch crater in an asphalt track which is part of an old airfield now owned by Allied Grains.

Who are these 'Allied Grans', any resemblence to Mum's Army?

And you thought the American revolution was over. Hand over your beautiful women and no one will get hurt.
