Hi everybody.
I am new to this forum.
I have grown up as a Christian in a Christian family, but I recognized that Jehovahs are more positive about peace on Earth. I believe in peace on Earth too. I believe in God and Jesus and angels. Last 3,5 years I have been travelling much and I have seen Jehovahs sooooo many places, and I was stranded in France 3 years ago and people from Jehovahs showed up from nowhere and helped me and gave me support. In South of France I was sleeping in a sleepingbag on the beach in Marseillan Plage and one day I woke up to beautiful sunrise finding myself on the beach - as usually at that time - and then out of nowhere a lady from Jehovahs came to me and gave me food and a bottle with coffee, this must have been the most nice start of a day I have ever had!
At the moment I am living in Liverpool. I am from Norway. I try to find ways to work for the good, and I believe that it gives you good dreams, and I try to find some ways to volunteer online. Maybe somebody could help me if you have ideas.
I am 30 years.Trying to find out what I want with my life. I want to make family one day. My passion used to be to create music, but now my passion is to create websites, though I am not so good at it yet.
Peace and light to all. God bless all. You matter.
Big hug to all.
Daniel

Welcome Danny boy. I hope to natter with you on here.
We are a mixed bunch. Mostly Ex-JWs, like myself.
I for instance do not believe in god, jesus or any religious stuff...but I defend your right to believe what you want as long as you hurt no one.
It's such a shame about all the sexual abuse of children that the watchtower is hiding. What do you think of the Australian Royal Commission for instance?

Ha ha, sounds like she had a teleport. That was nice of her. The local Baptist church where I live runs a soup kitchen too. A lot of people are kind from all walks of life....even we atheists.

Hi Daniel!
Um, you do know that the "Jehovahs" are eagerly waiting for 99% of the people on this planet to be killed don't you? That's not really peace on Earth...

Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum.
I'm agnostic - I don't really know if God exists or not.
I don't believe in the God of the Bible or organised religion. I accept evolution as fact, given all the evidence supporting it.
I hope you find work creating websites - if that's what you want.
Hyggelig a treffe deg!

Welcome Daniel,
I'm glad you had a good experience with the Jehovah's Witnesses you encountered.
I'm curious as to how you knew they were Jehovah's Witnesses. Most people who do something kind for someone else, don't typically tell you what their religious background is unless they have an ulterior motive.

Are you aware Daniel that calling them "Jehovahs" is kind of disrespectful? They're cool, though, with being called "JWs" - in fact, they emblazon the initials everywhere. Just a thought anyway.
Good on the JW lady for giving you food and coffee. I just hope they don't take your mind and ability to reason in exchange. You do sound particularly vulnerable to JW niceness not suspecting what the underlying motive could be. Heard of love bombing? No? Please google it.

Welcome Daniel,
I am just wondering what your family life and upbringing has been like?
I am wondering if this might have something to do with why you find the JW utopian promises to be attractive?

youve got the right idea---keep on calling jehovah's witnesses "jehovahs". you will win lots of new friends.

Hello Daniel, you may want to look up Arne Jordly's bible commentaries. He is Norwegian like you and spent the last 25 years of his life writing and publishing Bible based commentaries. Not sure if he's still alive as I know he was having some health issues last time we exchanged a few years ago.
If anything it's fun reading and eye opening : https://twitter.com/arnejordly?lang=en
OK his website is down maybe you can track him down, I'm afraid he may have passed..
Search "Arne Jordly Church of God and Christ"
Not a cult of any kind just an honest guy writing his thoughts down coming from a Lutheran background, 'studied' with JW and others. Maybe you find something or someone that can put you in touch with however took over his kindle account and go from there. Maybe promote his commentaries online if you wish. Just a thought good luck !
PS : don't waste too much time with JW I was vulnerable and loved bombed as well.
