Study Article: Who is Leading God's People Today? Start of paragraph 12.

Standard version: "The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction."

Simplified version: "The Governing Body is neither inspired nor perfect. It can make mistakes when explaining the Bible or directing the organization."

    Even clearer? Even more forthright?

An equally good quotation to have in mind?

Thanks Freddo, it makes it more apparent that they are being evasive.

    It should read -

Standard Version: Therefore, it does err in doctrinal matters and in organizational direction.

Simplified Version: It does make mistakes when explaining the bible and directing the organization.

They've basically admitted nothing and state it only as a possibility.

Isn't it so ludicrous? If you speak out against the bOrg you get shunned as a mentally diseased Apostate yet they themselves admit openly to being "uninspired and fallible" It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that anyone would base their life on their teachings and follow them to the letter, shunning their own children and family members, spending all their time in useless "service" and donating money, etc etc etc..... It's hard to believe I was once so blind.

Plain and simple: The GB is "just" like everybody else.

    It's about time!

I think with the severe money problem that the WT organization is having shows that the GB are bad business men that have managed to get a bad credit rating in the business world and caused a screeching halt to almost all build projects that have going' the laying off all their unpaid corporation zombie slaves leaving them homeless and relying of the kindness of different people but not them.

As far as their interpretation scripture well it is a given fact that you can use the bible to say just about anything you want and get away with it depending on the gullibility of your audience. Thus their hard line stance against get a good education. Which means a scholarly worthy consideration of biblical passages will not be forth coming from these gents.

I think with all their business blunders it is time for them to take off those rose colored glasses when they read the bible and admit they really fucked up in the bible interpretation department but I won't hold my breath.

If the GB today were actually honest they would come out and say the WTS's past doctrines were circumvented and devised to enhance the proliferation of the WTS's own publications.

If you had done the same , you wouldn't want anyone around scrutinizing or criticizing your doctrines either.

The Watchtower Corporation and its designated sales representatives the JWS was always a commercialized fraud, pretentiously portraying itself toward preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ correctly, where no other Christian organization was doing so.

It began as self empowering element for men who were not academically trained bible theologians but were involved with occultism such as Pyramidology and Freemasonry. Nevertheless the leaders of this organization still and continuously proclaim that Jehovah had chosen them and have empowered the leaders with his holy spirit. Its a bit of a psychological con game that exploits the weak minded, poorly educated, and mentally vulnerable.

It also availed an enormous amount of power and control for few select men self endeavored through their own efforts and interests.

Since the GB makes mistakes, the question isn't what are they wrong about, it's: What are they right about?
