In any case, it seems that Conley and Russel must have separated, as the Conley's name was not mentioned thereafter, and, more significantly, even the news of his death was never mentioned in the publications. I am wondering on what subjects the two must have had a disagrement on.
<sigh> No disagreement. Conley separated as he felt he could do more good as a philantropist. There was never an ill feelings. A letter by Conley appears in the 'Towers of 1894 defending Russell against certain allegation. I have a large file on Conley, sorry, you're gonna have to wait for the book :)
