When i said wrong, i meant the picture, not the story. I don't really care who goes there. But the picture, OMG reminds me of the scene I'd see in the showers at a health club
(sigh) (Asleif puts on her "nudist education" cap) (note - as I re-read it, this post sounds harsh, but it was meant to be rather philosophical - I'm not meaning to attack you, just to make you think)
That's very judgemental of you. The whole point is that we should be comfortable with our own bodies, and the bodies of others. We're all imperfect.
So, you're telling me that you support the right of attractive young people to parade around in front of you naked, but you don't want to see people you consider unattractive naked?
Oh, really? How about unattractive people with clothes on?? Should those who society deems 'not good-looking enough' just stay home and not offend people? Maybe fat people or bald people or old people or people with disfiguring scars or who are just ugly should not go out in public, just so people don't have to be disturbed by the sight of them. Or hey, maybe ugly people could wear those Muslim thingys that cover you from head to toe.
The point is...for most of us (outside of the locker room at the gym, and maybe not even then), the only people outside of our family that we see naked are Hollywood stars and Playmates. Our standards for who "should" be naked in public are usually set by that. And we feel horribly unconfident and inadequate that we're not "good" enough to be nude in public.
Well, that's crap. Most of us look more alike with our clothes off than with our clothes on.
There's no more reason to cover the rest of our bodies in public than there is to cover our faces.
And when you're at a nudist resort or other get-together, it's not that big a deal. You're not constantly judging others by their attractiveness quotient. You're just visiting and getting to know them and having a good time. Or soaking in the hot tub or snoozing in the sun.
So there
