    I think there is faint small chance he will get impeached, but realistically I think the majority of the population of the US has had enough of the guy

    I think you live in a bubble caused by the media. If you take a look outside of it you'll see things are doing well and the US is experiencing the kind of growth and prosperity that an entire generation is unaccustomed to and have never known. No one is going to want to go back to Obama-era stagnation and depressed wages and the dems now seem determined to show how unhinged they are at every opportunity as they become more desperate precisely because things are going well.

    They'd rather the country burned if it meant they have control of the ashes.

    Trump is a horrible human being. This alone is reason enough for me to want to vote against him. His populist message may resonate with the white male, especially in the heartland and rural areas, but it's a message that is losing favor with the new more educated generations (the Marxists, Simon may say). This nationalism in Europe and the U.S. is going to be short lived. This is the last victory of the extreme right. In the U.S., Goldwater started it and Trump marks the beginning of its decline..

    I take Obama over Trump any day. I say this as someone who was indoctrinated to reject and dislike anything liberal for over 20 years. I am friends with liberals and they certainly make better neighbors and human beings than the recent brand of conservatives. Let's review, it's a cult

    In reading the US Constitution, the level for impeachment, as I read it, is "high crimes and misdemeanors."

    I don't see the applicable phrase "politically stupid asshole" as one of the reasons to impeach someone.

    Mike Pence may be the Incumbent President but I think President Trump will find a way not to run in 2020.

    Trump may or may not get impeached.

    It seems very unlikely he would be convicted by 67 votes in the Senate if he were impeached.

    But he is so going to prison after he leaves office.

    In earlier post I wrote that the technical term for his legal position is "hosed".

    It's beyond that now. He is just royally flaming flucked. Anyone with half a brain in his admin ought to jump ship now.
