Berkeley Kingdom Hall in Wollongong south of Sydney Australia has just been sold. Berkeley congregation are now sharing a neighbouring Hall at Dapto.. . The reason given was the governing body has taken over all the halls and the building was in need of repair. It sold in a matter of days.

This is all to pay for the luxuries of Warwick , no blade steak for our Boys it's eye fillet only. Who cares about publishers extra fuel, maybe they will need less appointments due to less halls.

This is something to ponder about.... With the internet and the freedom of information, I believe that one day, the JW org will fade out. In 50 years, 100 years. One day or another, it will fade out. When it does, who will run away with the money?

I doubt 50 years when all the child abuse cases start coming through then the watchtower will have a shock, over in the uk these past months they had a child abuse case and the watchtower finished up having to pay £1 million pounds in court costs,if you only get 10 such cases a year worldwide and that could be £10 million pounds a year lol

Yeah I have to agree. In 30 years time Wt will be reduced to a web site with a few buildings stationed in main centers around the world, that maybe 2 or 3 million people will visit when can physically get to it.
$2.6 mill would only pay for 43 sex abuse cases based on the Australian Royal commision recomendation of $60k per victim. Bearing in mind that some of their settlements have been in the millions.
