Answering the WTS: Why are So Many Angry at the Watchtower?

  As in a recent issue, the Watchtower loves to portray its critics as "apostates" and further label them as bad people who simply

  want to draw away faithful Witnesses because of their own irrational hatred of the "truth".

  But just how true is this proposition?

  While I cannot speak for all others, I can offer a simple illustration to show why such deep anger exists against the Watchtower

  Society:

  You decide to buy a new house. You want a beautiful home, in a nice location, with all the best features and appliances.

  The Watchtower Building company promises to build this home for you - but at a very high price. You are willing to pay the

  price.

  After you commit to the home and pay your life savings, you are told to wait. Years pass and your home is never

  delivered despite repeated promises and predictions. When you complain, you are accused of being "selfish" and a "liar"

  You find out that this company has been freely defrauding people for over a hundred years and getting away with it

  because they are defended by many lawyers - and special laws that protect them from being thrown in prison for fraud.

  Strangely, many other people seem to accept this fraud submissively and avoid complaining about it. If they give you temporary

  housing, it is utterly inferior, with leaks, gross defects, and problems. Their Service Dept. seems rigid, uncaring,

  and unhelpful.

  As time passes, you become more vocal about your plight. The Company then produces their trump card:

  They threaten your family and friends. They may even molest your children and try to cover it up - all while

  pretending to be "concerned about you".

  What do you do?

  Do you go mad? Do you get mad? Do you continue to try to sue them?

  Do you want to see them all dead? Do you hate them?

  Do you want your friends and family to be cheated by these people? Do you want strangers to be harmed by these malefactors?

  Lurkers! Do you understand, now?

  Metatron. Interesting analogy.

  Re the house thing, I've always likened it to a mortgage that never seems to get payed off. Just when you think you are close, the "bank" changes the terms.

  Actually......you will never own the watchtower home. When you are in this home in the new system.....you can lose it all just by an act of unfaithfullness, and Jehovah will vanish you into thin air. This houses title, is held forever by Jehovah.....not you. This home also has a good chance of being reposessed at the end of the thousand years when Satan is let loose, and the MAJORITY follow him....including yourself. You will never have a home you can call YOUR home in the New System.....ownership is contingent on faithfulness......not payments

  I've made this point before but it needs emphasis.

  The Watchtower is legally permitted to commit frauds that would get other corporations sued out of existence ,

  with their directors put in prison. I dare any lurker to look at the legal "boilerplate" that carefully protects any US

  company when they talk about the future ( sales, earnings, results, etc.)

  Now compare this sort of carefulness with the Watchtower's long history of false predictions, false expectations,

  and deliberate deception ( "the happiest people on earth") AND refusal to apologize for anything - and then ask

  yourself why "the Faithful slave" has lower standards of behavior than almost any modern 'worldly' corporation.

  Let's go further here and ask WHY? WHY are They PERMITTED (licensed LEGALLY) to CONTINUE to COMMIT FRAUD?

  WHY??????

  What DOES WTBTS REALLY contribute to the World that makes it such a PILLAR that keeps this System of Things "well oiled"?

  What WOULDS happen if this PILLAR were to shift and eventually fall?

  I WANT ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS. It is what I search for more than any other Quest(ion) re: this organization and it's suspected hidden agendas.

  Why is WTBTS so important to the government that it won't touch it; in New York?

  Skally, I think the WT gets away with fraud because it is such a closed society. The government is not so quick to come after religions even those who preach hatred. It is because they are protected by the first amendment and they pervert this to their advantage, these religions who fight for freedom of speech and freedom of conscience. They get away with much harm and abuse of thier members by demanding their first amendment right. No religion should be given the right to harm their members with thier teachings. The children raised in these hate religions are harmed emotionally and spiritually.
