Why aren't the JDubs receiving more bad publicity concerning the abuse cover-ups?

  The ARC did not find 1000 unreported victims. In March 2017, they admitted roughly half of them either already came to the attention of the police or had “insufficient evidence” to warrant a report.

  So we know for sure that a good number of them were unproven accusations.

  Better get to work on compiling these thousands of cases covered up!

  And there’s the fact that the ARC published that number 3 years ago and it’s been covered ad nauseum.

  So it’s no longer “news” to the media. You have to come with something new and substantial.

  Quite simple really, the JWs have neither the membership numbers nore the money of the Catholic Church. It’s as simple as that. To give you some kind of impact the ARC had. I live in a country that has very close ties to Australia and it never even made it on the news. Other than xjws child abuse is only an issue amongst the wicked Catholics.

  @Doubter - let's say 500 kids per country were molested and the prevailing method of handling it, whether in writing or not, was to discourage members from going to the police and to handle it congregationally. Lets say 100. Whatever. How do you feel about it?

  I'm not sure what you doubt. You're clearly a WT drone ala Richard Oliver, Fisherman, John Davis, etc. Tell us, what do you think of Jehovah's Witnesses?

  Are there actually between 100 and 500 children abused in each county who are discouraged from going to police?

  Of course, the ARC was clever in their wording. They are apparently saying WTBTS of Australia didn’t report. Well, they (WTBTS) are third parties getting second hand information. They can’t help the police if they did report, like the people with direct knowledge of the situation can.

  Did anyone locally report (local elders or the victim(s) and/or their families) is the question.

  Ensuring the protection of reputation is more important than the protection of children. We should applaud doubter's vigilance in championing reputation over children's wellbeing.

  Excellent point Steve. It's a sad reality of this poster and those that came before him. Just emotionless robots that value the cult over the most vulnerable in it, reflective of the attitude from the GB on down, and the god they worship.
