When I was fishing an average hall would net 10,000 lb. but since I've left the business, can't say. Go forward young man and be a fisher of men!!!

    Hey Blondie!

Do you have any further word on losing elders or is 25% just your current guess?

Just this past week, the only elder I still talk to regularily is scheduled to move to a congregation that "needs help"

because the elders there are sick, senile or just not very capable. I didn't ask him "where's the young men who

want to be elders?". He likely already knows.

Out of a total of about 110 people in my congregation, an average of 70 would show up each meeting in average...That was about 5 years ago.

My former congregation had about 140 when I joined in 1987 and went down to about 40 in 1992. That congregation dissolved in 1992.

Out of the 6 congregations we had in this city in 1991, there are 4 left.

The correct answer is 83, in the US.

Take the average number of pubs and divide by the number of congregations.

Actually, given that attendance is off in most places, that makes for a rather

    sparse Service Meeting.

In my old congregation before I left in 1999, the average attendance was 120-130, sometimes hitting 150 for a Sunday.

But recently have been told average is now 85-90.
