I'm an INFJ:

We had a day-long class with a lengthy personality test based on Myers-Briggs.

My personality type predominantly was the researcher type (represented by color green). The kind that would do best in jobs writing, library-type, artists, any kind of job that would need long stretches mostly alone.

Other types were sensitive (blue) and were more in touch with other people's feelings and would do best in "helping other people" jobs. That was my 2nd "runner-up."

Of course, we all have overlaps and traits in all the ranges, but usually are stronger in one type.

I guess its not always good to categorise people. I struggled on a few of the questions because I could have happily chosen two options. It all depends on the circumstances. In personal life, I guess I decide things based on intuition and emotion more than logic, but at work I'm logical, and it was a career related test.

I did take the test, among a few others, for Career Planning. I'm artistic, no surprise. As of tomorrow I'm taking Adobe Illustrator and CAD Interior Design. I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully it will eventually get me a job that I'm interested in and also pay my bills.

This takes me back. A few years ago I was doing the Myers-Briggs with my friends in the Hall, it was a hoot. Although it did end in tears for some.
