I'm an internet Scrabble geek...does that count as a gamer?
Ruby: Yup.
Sassy: She was the same about golf. Took her one time to play at a good local course. First time she ever picked up a club. Shot a 2 over on the front nine. "It's too much walking," she said, and never played again, crushing my dreams of being a househusband/caddy while she raked in six figures.
She was pretty neurotic that way. That's why she's the ex.
sounds like you have a better deal going now... besides.. didn't I read after two putty in your hands??
actually my boyfriend also plays counterstrike on the net.. I keep telling him that as soon as we get two pcs back online I am going to learn.. and we'll go out there and really get them..
(YIKES.. A chick who has never even held a gun -------> Sassy)
Maybe I need to learn how to play NFL football.. that is really more up my alley any way..
I have The Sims delux on PC, which is strangely addictive!
I love the Legend of Zelda games but have only played Ocarina of Time & Majoras Mask on the Nintendo 64. I have yet to experience the Gamecube version which I have heard is awesome.
I also have a Gameboy which I have just for the Zelda games, but I haven't played in ages.
I tend to go through phases of either playing loads or not at all, no happy medium!
I have a PC and Gamecube.
Gamecube I like to play Zelda, Mario and Mario Kart.
PC: I've got into MTA: Multi Theft Auto. It's a hacked multiplayer version of GTA and there's versions for both GTA 3 and GTA VC.

Ignored One.
I'm thinking about getting a gaming system, but I'm undecided as far as which one I want to get. The little handheld Nintendo job looks pretty cool.
wow I am not the only gamecube fanboy, cool. I also love the Zelda games they are the reason I keep coming back to Nintendo. It took me like 6 months to beat the wind waker because i just didnt have enough time to play. I am starting on Metroid Prime right now and that game is awesome. If any of you have a gamecube and havent tried it, give it a rental you wont be dissapointed.
I am kinda anti Xbox because I hate MS but if they drop their price to 99$ as CNN.com is reporting I might have to swallow my pride and get one, I am curious about their Live games. hopefully PS2 will drop down to 99$ cause I would rather have a PS2 over an xbox.
Have never really gotten into PC gaming but part of the problem is I dont have a killer PC, I do have broadband though. whenever I upgrade my PC I may try some games.
thanx for all your replies. and keep them coming
Dan:
I would definitely reccomend the Gameboy, I love mine. there are literally hundreds of games for it and if you're nostalgic like me you can relive your youth with classics like Super Mario Bros 3, Zelda a Link to the Past, Sonic, etc.
I love my Game Boy Advance. I'm currently hooked on Fire Emblem. The U.S. version is actually the 7th. The others have only been released in Japan.
I just hope they port 1-6 eventually.
