In my humble opinion the anointed" if that is to be understood as is" could not be with a group that lies to such an extent as this. God does not lie, or I would not think he doen't does he? So why would he (stand for) as a group people who lie on many matters such as the Witness's it makes no sense to me. The bible says come let us reason together". So it leaves one to ask where are the anointed, they are everywhere and anywhere and God knows who he wants and they know.

Satans little helper
Someone I knew professed to be of the annointed, she was the mum of someone I was going out with. The congregation treated her like shit because they thought she was bogus - she was only in her mid 40's at the time and I guess may be about 60 now. It was ironic the judgementalism she faced and yet still stayed a witness. Apart from being a religious fruit cake she was a lovely woman, and her daughter was very cute!

Knew of 2 of them. A 60-something elder who came from to Florida to California in time for the Memorial. Also a very well known sister who died last year. She was in her 80s. She went trough a lot of persecution in Cuba and married a man who supposedly helped the preaching work in Cuba during the early years. When she came to the U.S., she and her family helped to form congregations in SE L.A. She used to help care for me at the hall when I was a baby.

We were led in to the JW religion by the "anointed", they didnt make any big deal of it except to occasionally tell us there was "no love in the great crowd"

If one of the anointed stray their place will be filled by someone else, however if that anointed one comes back the 2nd one will have to go into the ranks of being Jahs "Reserved anointed", this is their official teaching and is based on Romans 11. I know someone who claimed to be of the reserved anointed, she partook for a few years and then decided she had the earthly hope and stopped partaking. It was taught that the original straying anointed one must have come back into the truth...durr

I knew of an older sister who claimed to be of the anointed. But I was always confused about that. She used to cuss and swear when she was doing her gardening work. Never made sense.

I interpreted my "spiritual experience" as anointing as I had no other frame of reference for it. I found the whole idea profoundly humbling, which was exacerbated but the WTS teaching on the subject (ie, one of a limited number, replacing someone, 1935, etc).
I tried to get in contact with others, on the Internet, and succeeded in contacting a few of varying ages.
Even after I DA'ed they remained in contact, still viewing me as their brother.Long before I DA'ed I came to the conclusion that it was something for all Christians (and by that I don't mean some kind of huge "spiritual experience", since that varies from person to person, too).
Could some of the JW "Anointed" be Christians? I don't doubt it, but it's not for me to judge. However they are certainly not getting "fed at the appropriate time", nor receiving meat for their souls.

No. The position ONLY opens up upon the death of an unfaithful Anointed. DFing and reinstatement have no impact upon being Anointed. I believe that this was answered in a 1976 Wt Question from readers ... I would have to check ... In fact, a DF'd Anointed can still attend the memorial and Partake ... but before doing do, He/She should talk with the Elders.
