Simon: There's no "cancel' option but you can change your vote - if you clicked dislike then clicking like will change it.

Good to know. Wish I'd known that earlier, but at least I know it now!

I will be adding some checks so that if it appears someone is disliking or liking a person rather than their posts (e.g. using it for retaliation or 'trading' likes) that they will be removed and prevented.

So if a post gets a lot of dislikes, is it 'flagged'? I thought the 'flag' was only to report violations.

No, likes / dislikes are about opinions and flags are completely separate - those are for definite violations of posting rules / guidelines.

Think of flags as "I think this is wrong and a moderator maybe needs to look at it"

Likes / dislikes are just a way for you to give a thumbs up or down to something someone posted as a form of feedback even if you don't really have anything to say about it.
