No matter what always remember
It is better to have questions you can't answer, than answers you can't question.
I don't know who said this first but it is one of my rules of life on this planet.

I am with GaryBuss. I am now allergic to the word "should", surely one of the favorite buzzwords in the WTS lexicon.
I am for variety and diversity. Observing our big, beautiful world that God created, I think He is, too.
I think the problem is that you have in the past and still are asking other people how you should view things... what you should think... what you should do.
All of these things are up to you.
Pull your head out of the sand and think for yourself. It is YOUR life.
Within the walls of the Watchtowr, the slogan is "Whatever is not forbidden is permitted."
Outside, the slogan might be "All things are permitted, but not all things are beneficial."
Like Elsewhere said, you have to learn to THINK for yourself. The better and more often you THINK, the better your life will be.

If I understand correctly Fearno was not being led by a carrot, blindly asking for direction. He/she stated a desire to debate and openly speak of the spiritual realm.
That said, may I suggest Beliefnet? All religions are discussed there. The board offers debate, believers only, and questions only.So you can explore at length all aspects of any belief system. I think you would like it there, try it out.
Agree with Gary B and Nathan, u have to learn to think for yourself. That is not as easy as it might sound. For so many years, (in my case 50) i allowed the elders to think for me. I could not make a simple decision. I had to ring up brother " worst case scenerio "and ask him what a "real" jws would do in this situation. Finally i was so depressed, i no longer could go on. I had to get professional help. After years of therapy, i began to make decisions for myself. I still struggle, but I have my Bull shite dectectors out . I am not getting ropped into another crazy religion.
I was so confused when i went into therapy, I did not have a clue how "I" really felt about anything. I could only say "JWS teach this and that". I was totally brainwashed.
Feelings and taste allow for diversity, but should (could, may, are we to we) believe what we like?
The I AM does not change, regardless of what we believe. We do not change who HE is by our beliefs.
We are always hearing of people who are around seeking after the Truth. I have never seen a (permanent) specimen. I think he has never lived. But I have seen several entirely sincere people who thought they were (permanent) Seekers after the Truth. They sought diligently, persistently, carefully, cautiously, profoundly, with perfect honesty and nicely adjusted judgment- until they believed that without doubt or question they had found the Truth. That was the end of the search. The man spent the rest of his hunting up shingles wherewith to protect his Truth from the weather.
- Mark Twain, "What is Man?"
Fearnotruth, I fear you are settling down too early. The search, I believe, is even more delightful than the discovery.

We cannot change the nature of God, and we cannot change reality by believing what we like.
