I like American Idol and Survivor. But they aren't on all year.
I also like Boston Public and One Tree Hill (both high school dramas...............hmmm, wonder why I like them?) and Law and Order (all 3) and American Dreams

I like "King of Queens". I also watch "Jeopardy!" every night with my kids - we love to play along.

My most recent favorite is Arrested Development. Any show that makes my husband and I laugh out loud while watching it is a hit in my book. Great writing, acting, and execution. Therefore, I predict it will be gone in a season.
Other faves include:
Scrubs--the writing is so clever and the actors must go home every day thinking "I have the best job in the world"
Queer Eye For the Straight Guy--I didn't mean to like it so much, I just can't help it. I want to put the fab five in my pocket and take them home...
Monk--despite transparent plot lines (which are getting better this season so far) I am mesmerized by Tony Shaloub's performance each week.

I love the Simpsons and Southpark also. Not just mindless cartoons.
King of the Hill. The stereotypical Texan?? Do you Texans identify with Hank Hill or any of his buddies. Funny guys.
From Texas to New York. Seinfeld. Seinfeld was once mentioned by Boomhower (sp?) on King of the Hill. He thought those NYC guys were pretty funny.
And for really mindless entertainment, any of those super dorky Sci-Fi's that come on the Sci-Fi channel on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Most Extreme Challenge and Iron Chef -- I'm a Japanophile. They're the English of Asia.
WWE Raw -- Vince McMahon says "You're Fired!" WAAAAYYY better than Trump.
24 -- But I'd hate to go on a date with Kim Bauer. I'd have to dodge death every 60 minutes.
Monday Night Football -- The best theme song ever. "Dadadaduhhhh...."
Law and Order -- sharp, sharp show... cast changes make it even better.
The Simpsons -- The gold standard in 21st century comedy.
King of the Hill -- In Texas, it's a documentary.
History Channel -- just watch it for five hours, and you'll see something on Hitler.
Fraiser and Seinfeld reruns -- You know the episodes by heart...but you still pop a lung every time....
Mystery Science Theater 3000 -- I'm trying to round up every DVD I can...
Star Trek (OS, TNG and DS9) -- Part of my nerd credentials
