Places like this have helped me loosen up alot and not be so sanctimonious about my opinion. Let's face it, opinions are like assholes - everyone has one.
The dubs do foster an atmosphere of non acceptance of opposing views so it is hard to get away from that
I tend to take myself MUCH too seriously....could be a carry over from the JW days ( or could just be that I am just neurotic! HAH!)
..my non JW wife tells me that she married me"....as is".
She has also taught me that a cocktail and good sense of humor can just about fix anything. She is right.
And somewhere in the world it is always cocktail hour. So here is a toast to all of us "serious minded folks" out there; lets find some humor and have a good laugh!
( and you don't have to get up for field service in the morning)
