I add my votes to those who feel that there is no need to add injury to the already-repressed lives of JWs. I have escaped with my life - there is no reason I would want to hurt those who have not done so yet.

oh, i did take action against the WTS. I had the urge to vote.....
As I read the contributions to this thread, I can't help but think how what's written here so clearly discredits the WT stereoptyping ``apostates' as bitter Devil-inspired malcontents maniacally obsessed with dragging dubbies away from their Big Mama's embrace.
By living a happy and successful life outside of the congregation.

I was thinking much the same! What a nice note to finish my night on! Well done, all.
hmmmm.....I went on a frenzied letter writing campaign detailing and exposing the WTS scriptural and doctrinal inaccuracies for several years and even sold my belongings in garage sales to finance the copymaking and mailing of tons of copies and mailed 'em out to local congs all over the United States and to the Branch Offices for the WTS, whose mailing addies were handily listed in the back of the NWT.

I helped a reporter for the St Petersburg Times with background and research materials when she was writing a piece on shunning. I didn't get featured in the article because I wasn't officially shunned yet only under intense investigation. I don't mind doing that sort of thing because it may stop just one person from getting involved with them. The active dubs don't read the negative things anyway. It takes more than that to rock their boat. My boat had to be hit by a torpedo before I would investigate the dark side.

I am not at best a revengeful person..
so I can't think of anything I've done to the Wt, Elders or J.W.'s..
I bet if I go back and read some of my posts.. that I have probably said revengeful things about them.
I was bitter for number of years.. but now only feel "sorry" for them.
When I meet a J.W. who seems nice and doesn't know I'm disfellowshipped.. I give kind of that
""AAAWWWW... poor soul.. and seems to be a nice person".. I feel sorry for them all.. They are being lead. They believe. So sad that an organization can misquide a person so.
....
Some persons might think I have been revengeful by cutting off all ties to J.W. family from my kids.
I sincerely felt it was necessary,.. I felt I was protecting them from the "Watchtower"..and I still do feel that way. I didn't feel they needed that exposure to being taken to meetings when they were visiting them or having family talk to them about paradise and playing with lions.. or Armageddon..
but still my motive was not revenge but emotional protection of developing minds.
sincerely

One of the elders at a hall said some really bad stuff about me, my family and our office which cost us some business. As I said I was never a JW. I learned of this from one of the JW's in his hall. The JW who informed me about it could not sign a deposition or testify in court without being DF'd so I did some research and found some skeleton's in the closet in which I exposed to the right people. I call this justice. Anyway, this now former elder will not cross our paths anymore.
