Yeah! And what the heck is a "trance mix," anyway?
I've downloaded the midi file as well,.... I may do a Dub version (Dub being a sort of Drum & Bass, Reggie style)
Get a copy of Propellerhead Reason, software so good I bought a legal version.

None of these links are active anymore.
Are there any new links to these pieces of music?
I thought the Gregorian Monks invented musical notation...

I do not have a link to the ones Leo posted and I'm very sorry I missed them! However, this CD of similar interest (with samples) is very cool...

2. Hurrian chant to the moon-god Nikkal (Duchesne-Guillemin) [2], from Ugarit around 1400 BC.
3. Hurrian chant to the moon-god Nikkal (third version) [3], from Ugarit around 1400 BC.
4. Fragments of Ugaritic songs, [4], [5], from Ugarit around 1200 BC.
5. Tuning exercise for playing the lyre [6], from Nippur around 1000-500 BC (but possibly dating as early as 1600 BC).
6. Paean of Athenaios [7], from Delphi around 128 BC.

Download them and play in your Winamp.
I'm not sure, I'm afraid if I play them, it will bring demons into my computer. I wonder if my AVG protection can filter out evil spirits. They say its pretty good.
Have you seen this message before?
"This sight has wicked spirits attached to it. Are you sure you want to open it?"
The tunes sound very middle eastern (of course) to western ears.
Of course the way they have had harmony added is far too modern.
Will I be demonised now?
