St. Michaels Mont as you put it, aye, magical place for sure. Supposed to be one of the earthly 7 gates to the universe. I've not actually been inside though climbed around the rugged outcrop a few times, it's a very moving and beautiful place, timeless almost. The Mounts Bay around it is where there once used to be the land known in local legend as Lyonesse, a huge forest, whose great timbers can still be seen from the surface on very low tides, St. Michaels Mount was a hillock with a place of worship, castle on top. At one time it was said that between the Lands End and the Scilly Isles there was a narrow strip of land extending all the way between the two, 128 parish chapels used to be there. Boscowan Noon stone circle and the Men An Tol and Lanyon Quiot and Chysauster are all close by. Anyway, one night there was this humongous great storm and the sea rushed in, alas, there was only one survivor. (Then there was the story about the two giants, one on Tremcrom Hill and the other on St. Michaels Mount, one day they had a big hullabaloo and threw granite boulders at one another)

Shotgun. As it so happens, I'm a picture framer too, can't resist the business, how about we work out a fair price for a 10"x12" complete frame, mount, moulding, 'glass', backing board etc, ready to goon the wall? Hmmmm, oh and cheers for the compliment. Sale?

Mouthy yam daft ruddy ole apporthin balmpot scrumptiousness of grannies, that my dear is not a rose, it's a ruddy rhodedendron, bloomin things, yes they're very nice, but still a ruddy weed. Glad you like the weeds here. But be patient gal, I'll post you something better another time soon, that flower out there has your name on it, and I'll find it, and post it for you. Cos your'e a ruddy beaut!

    Cantankerous, nevertheless, a real beaut.

    Hmmmm.

    Hmmmm indeed.

I think I'll leave it there.
