Yes, they CAN, but not ALWAYS. It depends on their mood-du-jour, I guess, STILL, nothing in any publication that says they can do so. Go figure. They MAKE the rules, THEY can break the rules, I guess.

Had the same thing happen. They announce that I had DA'd myself as an unbaptized publisher....what ever that is. I had sent a letter stating my baptism was under false pretenses and they just when around it and did what they wanted. I wrote a letter to the PO and called him a coward and a liar and told him to retract the announcement. I knew he wouldn't but it was fun to give him crap about it. Later I sent out NGO letters to all the JW's I knew and put this PO's return address on them....Boy was he upset! I loved it! And I'm not done yet with this clown! Maverick
