I'm an administrative assistant (babysitter) in the field mapping dept. of a cable company. No I'm not on the internet at work.
I am a Service Coordinator for an irrigation company at the moment but hope to get back to work at a Sheriff's Dept. soon. I do not currently have internet access at work.
Just for the fun, a brief "theocratic" perspective of my career:
Age 13 to 14 sold newspapers at a major intersection in Ferguson Mo. Age 15 to 16 busboy in local hotel/restaurant, 16 to 17 bagboy in groceries until 17 to 18 worked into assistant "produce manager" in IGA grocery store. For the next 39 years have (accept for 10 yrs of WT 'fulltime work') been self employed in construction related fields. Moved on from residential remodeling to commercial remodeling, to new construction builder and then a stab at playing developer.
It worked well, but I'm tired. Wish I would have started about 30 years ago instead of waiting for Armageddon.
Finishing present project and hope to retire early to pursue new career:
SUPPORTING LITIGANTS IN LAWSUITS AGAINST THE WT SOCIETY.

You know, for a moment there I thought this was another one of those homo threads.

LOL @ Bradley!
We can always count on you to keep the thread controversial!

Love ya baby! (But don't tell Bradley - it ticks him off when I say that!)
Jst -
I'm glad you did the "resume" thing. I considered doing it, too, but was afraid to overwhelm everyone. Maybe I'll add a bit here and see if others are comfortable adding their "pasts", too.
Started working at 16 in front line positions such as in snack bars and retail sales. Graduated to restaurant work for about 12 years or so, eventually becoming an Assistant Manager. When I realized how thankless and underpaid that job was, I moved to Lake Tahoe and worked in a casino. Before doing so, however, somewhere in there I was an admin assistant - bored me to tears. Once in Tahoe, first did room service (there goes that restaurant work again!), banquets, valet parking, then finally into the "pit" as a dealer. (That was really fun dealing blackjack, craps, roulette, caribbean stud, etc.) Finally made my way to Casino Shift Manager, but had to move 2k miles away to do it. Most stressful job in my life. Great money but not worth the grey hair! Returned back home to No. Cal and tried to work in parent's furniture refinishing biz - which stunk. (Grown children should not work in their parent's business!) Tried selling insurance for a while, and now I have finally found a job I really love doing - the research thing!
I do hope everyone paid attention - because there will be an unannounced quiz!!!!!
Anyone else care to post their lifetime resume?!

P.S. I ALSO SUPPORT THE MOLESTATION VICTIMS AND HOPE THEY WIN THEIR LAWSUITS AGAINST THE WT!
I'm the director of the state mental health department. We assist retards and incompetent morons in job placement within the government. If they are only borderline idiots we job place them in county zoning and code enforcement. Now if the individual is exceptionally stupid they are placed in the Governor's office on roadway construction scheduling. If they fail the morality and honesty testing they are encouraged to seek enployment with the medical ethics division. Maverick
LOL @ Maverick, the "Mental Health Director"
Do the nurses know you missed your meds today?!
