I am really into photography, though I don't persue it like I would like to. I am very much into my kids and I enjoy taking pictures of them and then I try to use alot of my photos to do scrapbooking...I rather do that than throw them into a box.

Billygoat, I don't even have a camera! I don't know the first dang thing about takin' pitchers.
starfish, good luck with your impending arrival!
Elsewhere, thanks for that...
logansrun, you fundy!
stillajwexelder, I won't tell her. I wish there was a chick in my life that I could really get into LOL.
HadEnuf, I've thought about gardening. It takes a certain artistry to know what plants to put where, I'm not very artistic in that regard.
shera & XW, yes home improvement and redecorating seems to be all the rage! I can't even count all the cable shows dedicated to it.
yoda, sounds kinda like me - a little boring and in need of stimulation!
Michelle, yes your kids are very photogenic, cuteys!

My hobbies change with the circumstances of life. When I lived in Alaska my work consumed most of my time except for typical family and community stuff. Moved to Israel and in my spare time did a lot of gardening to beautify my surroundings. I took up miniture lathe working making pens. Now that I'm back in merica I find I don't have a lot of hobby time as fixing the house and landscaping has consumed lots of my time. I hope to get back to the pen making as I brought almost a cord of olive wood with me from the Holyland so I'll have lots of fun, but not until after my wife's family reunion this summer which we are hosting. That means a honey-do list longer than your arm......................

Dan,
I used to do a lot of reading about comparative religion and philosophy but after several years it looses its edge and you begin to realize that unless someone else had read the same things, its hard to talk about your ideas and musings.. I've become much less intense and now kind of let stuff come and go without becoming too passionate about issues. Ah, detachment! It's such a relief not to have to have answers for everything...
