What song cheers you up as soon as you hear the first few notes? What cheers me up are twangy bluegrass banjo music like "Big Rock Candy Mountain" (http://www.reallyrics.com/lyrics/H004800010001.asp), "Watermelon Smilin' on the Vine", etc. Hard not to feel happy when you're listening to banjo pickin' and simple bluegrass lyrics. Also, have you ever had any experiences that related to the music playing in the background?
Sure, when making love (something mellow, new age, etc), exercising (metal), whatever. There's alway good music appropriate for the occasion.
