The video that should be in a safe deposit box, documenting everything for the insurance agency...
Ooops. I don't have one (it's not updated, anyway).
Perhaps my new leather jackets. Santa and Cupid were good to me.

My computer!!!
Or, more likely, my CDRs with all my backups on them.
It would have to be my childrens few keep sakes I have left, as we already had a fire a few years ago....
Then I would send my hubby in for my gold/jewlery .....Most of it was handed down to me from nana.....more of a sentemental value as it is very big and gawdy...
That's tough - there's two things:
My daughter's "blue blankie" - it's been her comforter for 6 years and has much sentimental value to me.
My grandmother's rocking chair - 3 generations of us have been rocked to sleep in that chair.
Good question. If I was with others I would make sure they are safe. Heck most possessions are replacable but people arnt. However as I live by myself I dont have anyone else to worry about so I might think about grabbing my mum's stuff she left me as its the only things that mean a lot. When I fled my x I had to leave a lot behind and thats when I learnt a lesson about material things, they are just that. Life is what is important to hold on to.
My old Teddy bear......he's battered and tatty round the edges, but he still looks at me silly 33 years on.
Tough question? My robe so I'm not running around naked scaring the neighbors who asked me to PLEASE stop going out to get the newpaper in my underwear...even if it was 4:30 in the morning....
My complete, still in mint condition (or at least no pages stuck together) collection of Penthouse?
Car keys?
Wallet so I had access to my money and accounts?
Wow, hard decision...hope I never have to find out.
I keep all my important papers (birth certificates, passport, diplomas, career certs, old cards, journals, pics ect) in one box. But its to heavy to 'grab' on the way out of a burning building. So it probably wouldnt make it.
I cant think of anything I own that woud be important enough to save in a life threatening fire except maybe I would grab as many picture frames off the walls and shelves as I can. I make it a point to put my best pictures out in frames instead of having them sitting around in boxes so if Aunt Fanny already got the album I'd get the ones in frames.
My keys and car are in the garage............I think I would just get the car out of the garage so it would not explode or catch on fire as well.
I do need to video tape or take digital pics of my household furniture, clothing, dishes, silver and china.......I would leave either the tape at work or upload the pics to a yahoo account so they are always accessible.
