    Hi Dansk,

HL and I have been away for a couple of days. We went to visit her brother in the Derbyshire dales and walked our little tootsies off. Anyway, we knew the match was on Sky at 2pm, so we left in good time (we thought) to see the game. Well the traffic queues were horrendous on both the M1 and the M42, so we only caught the last 25 minutes or so, but we listened to the game on the car radio. HL is a mad football fan and shouts and cheers to the radio, so we got some funny looks from the people next to us in the traffic jams.

Yeah.. Arsenal next, top team in the Premiere League eh?

    Mike.

Well done eman, good result. The form book doesn't favour you for the next match but then its the FA cup ... so who knows !

Help a 'merican out. Are Arsenal and United the main two teams in UK? I don't know much about British football league. Does London have a team?

Thanks for not mentioning the Calcutta Cup. I used to go to the matches, then I watched them on tv, now I make sure I'm out of reach all day.

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier bemoaned a series of missed chances as his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Portsmouth in their FA Cup fifth round clash at Anfield.

That's what Houllier said after the previous game!

Actually I feel sorry for Liverpool! I think they've got to "bite the bullet" and make wholesale changes, including at the top, because it's now clear that the current set-up can't bring them the success they're used to. Oh for the days when those rapier like runs of Robbie Fowler and McManamen thrilled us all! Those days were such a thrill to watch! But now?? Owen misses a penalty! Too much 'high living'??

BTW good for our 'Arry!!! Go Pompey!

    Cheers, Ozzie
