I bet you can. You know, I think the floor to ceiling kind is a phallic symbol and that's why some guys get a kick out of watching a girl dance with one. And you are thinking, "Duh."
I did ask a guy about it once: he had never even thought about the pole being phallic. Once he did think about it, he did agree.
