  I've always identified myself between Fred Sanford and Archie Bunker. Sarcastic, closed minded, unfriendly yet deep down lovable and warm.

  Ok, now I will tell you I am most like,,,,,,,,,,I would say Miranda the most, a touch of Charlotte( I love her taste, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany's all the way) and some of Carrie. Carrie in that she questions everything, trying to find her way , ya know? Samatha.........I wish!!!!!!!!! LOL.

  I LOVE Queer as Folk,,,,,,,,, I want to be the kind of Mom like Debbie is........accepting, supportive and the highlight of her life is her son( Michael). I don't give a hoot is Bryan is gay, and only likes guys,,, I would like to try and change his mind.......lol. He is F. I . N. E. !!! But I have to say on that show I love,,,,,,,what is his name, darn my fav. character I forget..........the flamboyant one.....the really sweet, understanding, one....??? Starts with an E maybe??? I can't believe I cant remember !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been awhile since I saw it. I just love him. He is the one who wears the leapord pants , shades and pink boa. I could see him and I just having the best time, talking and shoppin,,,,,,, so there for you ,kind of friend.

  I think Jerry , is a little anal, and George is neurotic, but gives the show spice. That show makes us all totally identify with the things that get under our skin but are too afraid to admit .

  Jennifer Bealls on the "L" word is cool, as is Pam Greer. I like the blonde chick with the spikey hair , she seems " real" to me. I am not that impressed with that show honestly. I was addicted to Queer as Folk almost immediately. It is all in the chemistry of the characters, I think.

  Emmit (sp)...LyinEyes. I love him too. He has the biggest heart, and I hate his stupid ass boyfriend, Ted, for hurting him. Justin is cute, but his ex-musician boyfriend was too hot!!! I didn't want him to go back to Brian. btw, the season premiere is in April!!!

  I'm going to give The L Word a chance. To get to know the characters.

  Yes,,,,,,,EMMIT!!!!!!!! OMG, I love Emmit........he is the brother I always wanted. Actually I grew up with an elder's son, who was soooooooo much like Emmit, he was a little younger than me.

  He was gay from the age of 10 at least. He lived about a 100 yrds behind our house and his dad (elder) wanted my dad( elder) to make a man of him by working him in our horse stalls.

  My bud, would do his chores and run up to my mother's room and paint her toenails for her. He would admire her taste and her style. Not all gay men are like Emmit I know that, but my bud was.........I miss him to this day. This guy is still a lost soul,,,,,being told by his JW family he is going to die, if he doesnt change his lifestyle,,,,,,,,and he still believes they may be right. I am still trying to find him,,,,,,,and let him know what I have learned. I would love to see him free from the doom and destruction fate they are trying to change him with.

  Me too Tat......... I am going to try harder to find him,,,,, I have connections ya know...lol.

  Some people will say that that some gay people choose the be gay,,,,,,,,,,,at an older age than my friend "D" was. But I have grown up with two gay men, my cousin, who was 2 yrs older and "D" and they were always gay even from a young age. The way the parents were , IMO , had no bearing on any "reason" others would try to make for the guys being gay.

  I am grateful to my mother for having an open mind , even as a JW elders wife, she was tolerant ,,,,,,,loving people for who they were , no matter what other's said they should be.

  I really hope I can find my "D" and direct him to this site,,,,,,,,he would be most impressed with the intelligence of the people here.
