It can be a bit of a shock to the system I guess..

OK, OK, so what does this sign mean, then?

(That had Joy & Steve totally stumped)

Anyway, it's dead easy. Look: http://www.eastmead.com/driving_uk.htm

Plus: When I was driving in the US a few months back, someone gave me the tip to always wear my watch on the other hand as a constant reminder to drive on the right. No, left. Er..right.

I loved driving in England and Scotland. Roundabouts are great. They move traffic so much more efficiently than Amercian intersections.

I did bust my knuckles of my right hand on the door a few times when I went to shift gears. After a while I just left my left hand on the gear shift all the time.

The motorways were very similar to US Interstates, no problems there. The country roads were so fun to drive. The traffic in London was rough though. I was definately out of my league there.
