After reading Megadudes review of what he thought of the movie, I really want to see it now.

Gore doesn't really bother me in movies, like Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan etc. I hate the slasher movies for the sake of gore thou.

I guess I am the type of person that is so curious about everything, that even if it is gorey, I would want to know what Jesus went thru, as painful as it may be to watch.

But should you let your children see it........ Since I havent seen it , I was wondering for those who have seen it,,,,,,,,would you let your kids see it?

What age,,do you think is appropriate ? I know all kids are different so that is some bearing on it.Even if a movie is Rated R,,,,,,,,a parent can take their under 17 yr old to see a movie right?

My son is 17 and I have no problem with him seeing it, he is very curious as well.

Of course I would have to see it to decide to let them see it..........But honestly, I am sure my kids have seen more than I want them too already,,,,,,,those Freddy, Chucky, and Jason horror slasher flicks.......I didnt want them to start watching those but they started seeing them at their cousins house.

I wonder if you were to compare the violence , blood , gore, suffering in the Passion........how would you compare it to other movies?

    No...

I was really surprised when I saw parents going into screenings of the movie with 5-10 year old kids!

LyinEyes from what you have told me your kids have seen the ten plagues which struck Egypt happen in your backyard already so a movie is probably boring.

No.. not for my 8 year old.. year old.

I really wonder if this is the kind of movie that teenagers are really interested in seeing. .. I don't think so at least not my teenagers.

The previews of the movie look very violent. It may have a religious theme ( Christian basis) but is just another violent movie.

No, I would not allow my kids to see it. ( ages 12, 9 4)

Well, my youngest just turned 22 so if he and his siblings want to waste their money, far be it for me to suggest otherwise.

Kind of a heavy subject matter for kids. I think over 14 years old kids would be able to handle it pretty good.

I doubt my 9 year old would be interested in it...if she were...hhhmmm I would probably wait for it to come out on video so we could stop it if it got to be to much...and we could discuss it as it went along.

Well, I'm quite a delicate soul actually. I've never ever been able to view for a second time that scene in Psycho when they go into the fruit cellar and turn that cadaver around...ooh, no, not for me.

No, I won't see it, it would upset me too much.

With a name like Passion I'm afraid I'll walk into the wrong theature and find myself with the raincoat crowd.
