Hmm...I'm not so sure about Canada. They have a weird law about child abuse cases.

If you have plenty of money and a great carreer, come to the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. It's been rated as the best place to live in the U.S.A. for several times. We have diversity, beach and plenty of sunshine. Not to mention cleaner air than Southern CA.

You are in Atlanta? My brother used to live their. In fact I spent my summer vacation in Atlanta for 2 years.

Hey, I understand that Ray Franz is in Atlanta, too.

Currently, I live in the middle of Pennsylvania, around the state capital Harrisburg. For the most part, we like it here but feel that sometimes it is a bit cold as well as being overcast every other day. For that reason and because both my wife and I have both lived in PA all our lives, we would like to move as soon as we finish up our teaching degrees.

We would like to move abroad, I really liked Spain when I was in Europe, but this may be next to impossible without the right connections and lots and lots of money. So, we might move to Maui for a couple of years if we can get a sponsor deal as new teachers in that state, many of the Hawaiian islands are desperate for teachers. We also thought CA was ok but its just too expensive and crowded out there. Perhaps, we might even try one of the Southern states like North Carolina but only along the coast but the south just might be too conservative, we'll have to see.

Oh, another reason to get out Pennsylvania, it's the birthplace of the WT-go figure and kinda scary.

I would fly to a few places and check it out. Have you been to the west.......such as the west coast? It's beautiful there and the weather is fair........cept for the fog in some places. The Oregon and Calif. coast is awesome!! If you like Florida weather.......you might look at San Diego Calif. (rated #1 in the nation as the "best place to live" not too long ago if I'm not mistaken)

Southern California is no place to live that's for sure!

But SIMON, you said England is no place to live either, and you all want to leave - that is an unspoken feeling I get from all the English I have had a chance to talk to. They won't even talk about it. What's the problem? Really??

    Hi Steve

You should check out Atlant...Oh wait, you live here, too! We moved here ten years ago. I'm ready to leave. The last two years I've been to Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, Italy. Get a little olive farm in Ibiza! That would be cool...

Hey, what's the difference between american beer and making love in a canoe? They're both f**king close to water.
