I just gotta say...you post some really really good stuff!

Lots of other folks do too, of course...but your kind of "O gosh look at the 543 Scriptures and 25 links I have" posts just blow me away! LOL I wish I'd won the lottery and had time to really look at just 10% of what you post.

You may already have shared a bit about your background, and I missed it (such are the hazards of a busy life, eh? )

If you don't mind, perhaps you'd like to refresh my/our memory?

ditto. I usually print leolaias posts out to read on the bus to and from work. blondies and watchtower review is another gem that helps to make the dull journies to work a little easier. keep up the good work people

I totally missed this thread the first time around! Thank you for the nice compliment.... I'm such a nerd though!

I'm a graduate college student studying language, been out of the trooth for about 12 years now, but who is still very fascinated in all matters relating to the Bible and the JWs. I was a subscriber to Jim Penton's Christian Quest back in the early nineties, and remembers what it was like to track down "apostate material," specifically old WT literature, in the days before the internet! In fact, I gophered a few things and got some material sent to me in the mail, and I passed it off to my mom as documents I got off the internet -- and that was back in 1990, long before a WWW! Anyway, I got involved with others things (i.e. real life) in the meantime, and pretty much missed the whole boom of ex-WT sites, like H2O and the rest. But here I am at JWD and hopefully Simon or his appointed successor will keep the board running for a good time to come!
