Liesh went to the mirror, wiped the fog off the glass, and proceeded to inspect her reflection. She appeared to be searching for some flaw she hadn?t noticed before. I saw none. Her reflection was but the mirror image of perfection. She was the definition.

    (shameless plug)

I do think it was one of my better lines though.

"It did not matter that the end of a life was wretched any more than its beginning. In eternity is neither end nor beginning: it is there at the highest moment of one's life, rather than the last."

Margaret Irwin, The Gay Galliard (her historically accurate novel about Mary, Queen of Scots and one of my very favorite books -- she also wrote Young Bess, about the young Elizabeth I, which was made into a movie with Stewart Granger and Jean Simmons)

They did not utter the word "escape" because they did not want to admit they were prisoners. Dream is our personal myth. Both from OLd Gringo, by Carlos Fuentes. A beautifull book.

All Bibles or sacred codes have been the causes of the following Errors.

    1. That Man has two real existing principles Viz: a Body & a Soul.
    2. That Energy, call'd Evil, is alone from the Body, & that Reason, call'd Good, is alone from the Soul.
    3. That God will torment Man in Eternity for following his Energies.

But the following Contraries to these are True

    1. Man has no Body distinct from his Soul for that call'd Body is a portion of Soul discern'd by the five Senses, the chief inlets of Soul in this age
    2. Energy is the only life and is from the Body and Reason is the bound or outward circumference of Energy.
    3 Energy is Eternal Delight

Those who restrain desire, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained; and the restrainer or reason usurps its place & governs the unwilling.
And being restrain'd it by degrees becomes passive till it is only the shadow of desire.

This will come to pass by an improvement of sensual enjoyment.
But first the notion that man has a body distinct from his soul is to be expunged; this I shall do, by printing in the infernal method, by corrosives, which in Hell are salutary and medicinal, melting apparent surfaces away, and displaying the infinite which was hid.
If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite.
For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narow chinks of his cavern.

    Proverbs of Hell:

Prisons are built with stones of Law, Brothels with bricks of Religion.
The pride of the peacock is the glory of God.
The lust of the goat is the bounty of God.
The wrath of the lion is the wisdom of God.
The nakedness of woman is the work of God.

"Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."

?Simon, I?m sorry. I didn?t mean to yell. I just, I need, I want to be able to fix this, fix everything. I killed them; they will never hurt you or anyone else again. If you take responsibility for what was done to you, that makes me a murderer, instead of a hero.?
