with me and that perhaps I should be viewed as "bad association". Funny thing, the same elder bastard called me at work to say how much he missed my "smiling face." My elder friend said," I said to myself, I'd rather associate with HIM anyday, even if you think he's bad association----than YOU!".......I'm gonna whack this guy's ass!

    Minimus,

do not waste your time with what he says. Ignore it.

They will say much more before they are finished.

If you live in the south, wait till the elder is gone on a vacation or better yet to the convention. Then lovingly plant Kudzu all over his yard.

You could also put the fish in an open box and let it sit out in the sun for a day or two... let it get nice-n-ripe. Finish boxing it up let it sit up a few more days so the maggots can start maturing a bit.... then mail it to your buddy.

I can feel my useful habits just disintegrating the more I read minimus' comments. I guess Brother Loser is probably right about you after all. But he misses Brother Smiling-Face, how sweet!

Just never mind all of that nonsense. They are just throwing their weight around, trying to intimidate you back into their control. I wouldn't be suprised if they tried to force a wedge between you and your elder friend, if they are already trying to stop him from talking to you.

My elder friend has known me since I was a little boy. He was almost like a 2nd father to me in many respects. He's in his late 60's. He doesn't get intimidated by really, anyone. Plus he thinks this certain elder is a dick. This elder friend would probably only stop associating with me if I got DF'd. And I would certainly understand.
