You Know talks about clowns as if they are a bad thing.

I think making people laugh is a wonderful gift.

My times making people laugh are among my best memories. I love to laugh, loud and long and clear. I love to laugh, ha ha ha ha, it's getting worse every year.

Isn't it the saddest stuff you have ever read? They are trying so hard to believe that these things will happen for them. That giving up what they do, it will somehow be worth it later. The Society has effectively taught them to brainwash themselves.

But most of it doesn't even make sense. How are they going to run these fancy houses without the "modern" technology of the "old system of things"? One person is looking forward to having a remote control fireplace that he personally designed. Hmm...How is he getting the energy to run it? Does he know how to make batteries or some other form of energy? How are they going to get and produce the supplies they will need. Stainless steel sinks, ceramic sinks, plumbing. They make it all sound so easy, like it will fall out of the sky for them. Most JWs don't have jobs in the modern fields of technology. So how are they going to make these things? There would be very few skilled persons to accomlish these things.
I laugh at the ones who are looking in field service and "picking out" their future homes. What if someone with more "senority" decides they want it too? How are these homes going to function without energy after the Big A?
One more person is looking forward to things like lions in the back yard! The animals in the garden of Eden were wild. They were not pets! I never could figure this out when I was still a practicing JW! The teeth and the digestive systems for some wild animals makes them meat eaters. Did God change their teeth and such after the flood? If he created them this way, then he knew that they would need them, I would think anyway. Otherwise, he created something that was imperfect for its needs. If they ate grass with these teeth before the flood then God knew ahead of time that mankind would fail and that meat eating was to be after the flood. Raises other questions doesn't it?

In the real life these ones are not only giving up their dreams for the new system that never comes, but they are also giving up who they are (could be) and the family and friends they could have from this "bad world". They have limited their thinking with closed minds run by the Society, thus limited their knowledge of so many things that bring happiness and make life worth living. I came out so late in life, but I am so glad that I am out.

In the end, isn't it simply mental laziness to expect someone else to solve your problems. Being so lazy that you will allow other people to decide all the major facets of your life. Who you can marry or befriend, what your occupation and avocations should be.

Its a high price to pay for not taking personal responsibility for one's life decisions and actions.

    To JT:

as always I love your post mainly because i realize it reflects your only opportunity to be heard.

That's not true. There are other avenues that I use to teach others. This is just one venue.

We will never shut you out or not listen to unlike your so call bro and sis.

Nonsense. Apostates have been trying for years to deal with me, unsuccessfully I might add. Threats and blackmail, withering ridicule, reviling, slander, "ignore YK" campaigns, and various attempts at befriending me, all have been used in an effort to discourage and discredit me. You just can't best me, that's all.

but in the end all the friends just laughed at him- pretty much like the bro in your hall must do you.

I am not aware of anyone not respecting me in my present congregation, not that it makes any difference to me. A few elders in the congregation where I originally began partaking couldn't handle it, and tried to make me recant my calling, but they have long since faded from my rear-view mirror. Most now don't even know. Only a few in my new congregation know of my hope. I don't talk about it or call attention to it. I don't on this forum either. I have mentioned it a time or two, but it is apostates that have insisted on making an issue of it. But that's okay. It is sort of a novelty I suppose.

he was sorta like you A WANTA BE "Heavy"

I think it's hilarious that you imagine that you know me. You don't. As for my supposed ambition to be a "heavy," I am, perhaps for the first time in my life, completely content with who and what I am. I have absolutely zero ambitions as far as holding a position in the congregation. I go to the meetings and lay low and try to seek out the lowly and depressed souls and those on the fringes of the flock to comfort them. If I do have any ambition at all it is to be seen by Jehovah as "a man after his own heart."

so when i read your post i just get a smile on my face thinking here is a guy who despite all his post and comments still don't realize tha the very org he defends would kick him out on his A$$ if he started to express the same views he shares with us

If I started to teach privately in the congregation, yes, there would be a problem, for obvious reasons; but I do regularly share my views with brothers at Bethel, and much more than what you get. So far they have not tried to muzzle me.

it is very sad to see a jw who has been REDUCED to having to share his most heart felt beliefs and views only with "Apoststes" cause we are the only ones who will listen to him-

Let me reiterate: This forum pretty much gets the chaff. I wouldn't dare dream of giving you the good stuff. As for being "reduced," the only thing I am reduced to doing is waiting on Jehovah. I am more or less just killing time. This forum is like a hobby for me; a little amusement and pastime. Nothing more. And, if someone really wants a reason to have faith in the truth, then that's who I post for. But, I am convinced, that as Jesus said, the things that are now only whispered among a few of us, will eventually be shouted from the rooftops.

you see guys like you are good for cutting the grass at the hall and no more - whether you want to accept that or nor i could care less

I do whatever the brothers ask of me. Actually, that is my favorite thing to do. I love landscaping and gardening. As a matter of fact, I just volunteered to take charge of the kingdom hall's lawn upkeep. At times I wish I could stay down here with my friends and tend to Jehovah's garden.

if there is one thing i learned while in wt is that wt is a position driven org and guys like you with no title are viewed as :half a man-

I am sure that's true with some. No doubt it was true of you. But as I said, I am totally secure with myself. And, if any are inclined to look down on me, I take the attitude of Pau,l who said he took delight in insults. It's all a part of filling up the full measure of the suffering of Christ in the composite body of Christ. And, eventually, obviously soon, Jehovah is going to make the first last and the last first. That judgment will turn the tables completely, whereas the high and mighty will be abased and the lowly brothers and sisters will shine as brightly as the sun in Jehovah's kingdom, and lead the many into the full truth.

I'm glad you are here- you serve as a constant reminder of why a person made the right choice to leave wt and the funny part is YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW IT

And you serve a similar pupose for me; a constant reminder of just how precious genuine faith is. When I see how absolutely impotent the opposers of the truth really are, my faith and trust in Jehovah's word becomes all the more stronger---as strong as Samson in a spiritual way. As Paul said: 'I am a debtor to even senseless ones.' Thanks again. Sincerely / You Know

How fascinating, You Know! While denying what JT wrote, you inadventantly confirmed everything he said. I can read between the lines of your words: you [i]are[/] ignored at your Hall! No wonder you like it here, for you get attention here.

    YouBlow,

The Elders won't give you a position because they know you're a spaz.
You lay low because the cong. thinks you're a spaz. You seek out the lowly and depressed not because you are a spaz, but because you use the tried and true WTS cult tactics and you are preying on the week. Pretty shameful in my opinion.

    YouBlow,

You're close! I don't have a Chihuahua, but I do have THREE ankle biters. A Pomeranian, a Yorkshire Terrier, and a Jack Russell Terrier. Actually, the Jack Russell can tear your head off if he wanted to. Since you like dogs, I'll post a pic of them.
