Yesterday, I went shopping with my mom and daughter. We shared a hamburger. Lo and behold! All 3 of us ended up with food poisoning. I have never been this sick EVER.

My ex came and picked up my daughter, she had not started coming down with it yet...........and we hoped that it was the beef jerky that only my mom and I shared. But when he returned her this morning, he said she too had come down with it. Poor little thing threw up all over her clothes (and gross........it was in her hair, so bath time again)

My mom felt better and was scheduled to leave for home..........so she left this morning. My daughter and I are here at home and Mommy is sick as a dog......Teryn is just a little under the weather, but she got some sleep. Last night, I was up all night getting sick.........so add no sleep to this dreadful food poisoning.

    sally,

please take her to her doctor for some testing. The e coli food poisoning which is transmitted through under cooked beef could remain in her system and be dormant. Better test to be sure it is not there. Childrens systems and kidneys are far more susceptible to this food poisoning than adults, and the results could be devastating.

I sound like a neurotic Dad, but I discourage my kids from eating any beef outside of our house for this very reason. At least at home I know it is cooked thoroughlly. Plenty of chicken fingers.

And call the health dept and report the restaurant.

Sally that is bad,, I am so sorry you and the family got that. It makes you literally sick,,,,,,,,,and then even sicker when you wonder what was wrong with the food to make you so sick. I would definatly go to the place you got the food and make them give you a refund, when you feel better. Give them a call and sometimes they will be good about that and apologize.

Hugs and hope you feel better soon...........

Sally. Echoing what franklin j said. If it is ecoli from undercooked burgers, it can be very dangerous especially for young children. Get a stool sample if possible and get it checked out asap.

    Sally,

My family just went a bout with some sort of virus.

    Vomiting, diahrea etc...Yuk!

I thought at first my well was contaminated, but found out that there is a bug going around.

    I also thought food poisoning...

My hubby works on the Indiana University Campus, and it is a wildfire epedemic.

Check with your local health department for outbreaks.

Get well soon! (imodium AD helps greatly)
