Energy/mass can neither be created nor destroyed but converted from one form to another -- so energy can be dissapated as heat energy the form with the highest entropy - if Satan is energy he could be destroye dby converting him to heat

It is not necessary to disintegrate the atoms that make up something in order to destroy it.

If you burn down your house, you will be destroying it. However, the material that makes it up will still exist - but in a different form.

So, if we assume that Satan has a physical existance, then it is not necessary to convert his matter into energy, or his energy into something else. If you sufficiently disrupt his being, he will no longer exist in any form recognizable as Satan.

However, as has been mentioned, Satan is just pretend, as is God. So, the whole question fails on just about every level.

Ok, but let's say that satan was an extremely refined form of energy, as the bible claims that he was one of the highest, most beautiful angelic forms. In that format, he may retain abilities in his heat form, or be able to return to his energetic form.

Disrupting his pattern could do the trick; sort of like a frontal lobotomy or electro shock therapy. Though, wouldn't there always be a chance of him going bad again?

Ok, i was thinking that, as a permanent solution, yhwh could fuse w satan. Whatchu think of that? Satan is finite, jehovah is infinite. And so, satanic influence would be only a drop in the bucket, so to speak. Besides, yhwh already knew all about evil, according to the bible, so he could not be corrupted by merging w corruption.

The Ghostbusters had proton colliders that turned protons into positron streams or jets. A very different and much more violent and complicated process than a laser. In addition lasers emit negative particles whereas a positron stream is positively charged.

i believe we are also confusing matter and energy here. from when i studied energy, there were two types, kinetic and stored (i don't know the spiffy word for it). so technically energy can't be destroyed because its either stored up, or its in motion. humans themselves are matter, which can evaporate into air. but all of that is just conversions done with the use of energy from the matter. geez i'm too tired to think right now like this..........
