Englishmans "other gods" thread got me thinking. Do Jehovahs Witnesses truly believe that Jehovah is the All powerful? Yahweh was just "one of the gods" in times gone by, who was promoted by the Jews into "The One True God".
There are plenty of Gods who could (IMO) kick Jehovahs arse. I mean, what if they all got together? This site www.godchecker.com is a tongue in cheek listing of gods from different pantheons. Check it out, and find a god you feel you could get to know.

Um. I guess noone is interested in the other gods - all this debating about the bible and Jehovah, I thought people might want to look into alternatives...

I like a God who never required human sacrafice..are there any through history...I suppose none of them required it ....their human worshippers took for granted it was required!

I'm into the ancient egyptian pantheon. There are a few gods I have felt drawn to - in the order in which they came to me - Het-Hert (Hathor), Ma'at and Anpu (Anubis).
