LOGICAL- Peace and blessings to you dearest one.

And to all others...By whose authority does 1John 5:7 become spurious? You make God a liar if it is untrue. I remind you all even of the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 where the man who would come would be called The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Not 'A' god or 'A' Father, for there is only ONE LORD, ONE FATHER, ONE GOD.

I ask you all to define John 8:56 & 58, where Jesus says Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see my day....
    Before Abraham was, I AM!

Jesus was speaking of the scenario that took place in Genesis 18, where the Lord came down as a man. It was JESUS He saw. And Jesus is calling HIMSELF the I AM, the name of God.

    John 10:30
I and my Father are one.

NOT one in purpose, but one and the same BEING.
    John 11:25
I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
He here is speaking of qualities that apply only to GOD. And applying them to HIMSELF.

    Jesus is LORD and GOD.
Oh, and how about this one John 20:28 (After THOMAS had seen the risen Lord)

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God!

Greatest of love to all of you

    Jesus is Lord

    Jah is Father

Jah DOES NOT equal Jesus, Jesus readily admitted that.

How could Jah give authority to himself? I own this cup, im going to give it to myself.... sounds silly doesnt it?

Im not getting into a silly trinity arguement, cos i'll only win convincingly.

    Sorry I swore at you.

Jesus in the flesh bowed to the perfect Fathre, perfect in Spirit, but even Jesus Himself recognised that He is God. More in a minute....

    Hebrews 1:2
Hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir to all things, BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS...

He is saying here the heavens and the earth were created by Christ Jesus!
    vs8
But unto the Son, he saith, thy throne, O GOD, , is forever and ever....

Jesus here is being called GOD. Not "a" God for there is only ONE God. Jesus is being called THE GOD.

And there is more too...not of my own interpretation for the menaing is clear and plain, and scripture is not up to private interpretation. More later....

    Rev. 1:8

I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, aqnd which is to come, the Almighty.

JESUS here, is speaking to John, speaking both in the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
He here is speaking of HIMSELF, not speakign just for the Father, but for BOTH of them.

So Jesus and the Father and the Holy Ghost are ONE, Just as 1John 5:7 says.

    John 14:10

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

If you see JESUS, you are looking at the FATHER.

Peace and love to you, sweet ones!

If anybody knows in whose name(s) JW are baptized in, please clarify. Shouldn't be that hard. :)

They came again today - gee, we must have spoken over 2 hours. I asked them about the practice of "shunning" and found out that indeed the one JW man "shuns" one of his sisters who has left the church. He has another sister who is an inactive JW and he doesn't shun her since she has not out right rejected the message.

In the end, they were unable to explain to me several things. They asked me if I thought the Pope
was a humble servant of Jehovah and I told them I didn't know the Pope's heart and didn't know very
much about him. He talked about how the pope wears those fancy robes and has people call him
Father and stuff like that and how he says his word overrules the Bible.

I asked them if their organization does not do the same though - using the example of baptism
according to Matthew 28:19. Since about 1985, they are no longer baptized in the name of the
Father/Son/Holy Ghost. Their governing body has changed that.

All in all... I tried to bear my testimony to them about my having direction from God in my life. (I feel I failed though.) They explained to me that they don't believe that God deals with them directly - no personal answers to prayer... and I told them that indeed, I have heard God's will for me... his word directly to me (through the Holy Ghost.) I'm sure they understand that as me being influenced by an evil spirit... but I did testify to them all the same. Once that started... they were quick on their feet and out of there. I told them that I had to be honest with them, and that I did not wish to become a JW, but hat they were welcome to come visit me anytime to get their hours in. I wished them good luck in their continued work.

If I may offer the observation that it strikes me as awfully impertinent to take the position that the absolute nature of the Infinite God may be conceived by the partial, finite and material mind of mortal man.

It's the sub-set attempting to describe the set.

It's the partial incomplete attempting to describe the complete and final.

It's laughable, that's what it is.

Frankly, we don't know; there's no way for us to know. And further, isn't it irrelevant? Only two laws, remember? All this existential bickering doesn't further our quest one iota, does it?

    Sweetest Sharon

Does it really matter so much who a JW is baptised into? a true Christian is baptised in the name of the Father/Son/holy Ghost. That is what really matters most.

Hugs to you and my prayers to you too, dearest one. I love all of you.

    G'day Lars old son,
Just noticed this point of yours

the "666" number on the beast which represents Christendom represents it's false belief in the trinity doctrine

Just where did you get this from? Leave the Watchtower thinking behind Lars.

    Cheers,
    Ozzie
