personal experience - very boring. you pass around stale crackers and wine which is usually cheap grape juice. show them what you are and take huge bites of the bread and drink the wine and see what they do =D
I might go to the memorial this year....what is it like?

If you choose to eat the bread or drink the wine, bear in mind that there may be shocked gasps of horror from everyone. You are not JW, therefore how dare you? Honestly, that is what they'll think. Then they'll talk about it for weeks. If you attend with a JW, they'll blame that JW for not "informing you" that it is only anointed 144000 who "can" participate.

Just remember the Memorial has a two-fold purpose. One, to fool everyone into believeing that the WTS Printing Corporation is a Christian Religion, (these people also include the IRS). And two, to show the rank and file what piles of dirt most of them are as they sit there and do nothing but watch like good little drones. Remember non-annointed Elders decide which partakers count and which do not. This farce is an, "in your face" put down of the very people Jesus died for. Maverick

Also if there are any dfd ones in attendance, they may chose to make sure that individual is shunned publicly in that they rush to make sure they are not allowed the touch the emblems. Rather they are passed from the person on one side of them, and then grabbed to hand to the person on the other side of them.. thus making a seen and pointing out to everyone they are not completely welcome here.
I have not noticed that in all congregations though. The last one I came from was like that. when I inquired about it, I was told they can indeed do that if they think necessary

Anyone who goes to these meetings is helping pump up Watchtower's figures. The more that stay away the better!!
When I was a good Dub and went to meetings and the KH was half-full to almost empty I used to feel pessimistic and even angry at those who hadn't turned up. Just think about that! The more that stay away has an effect on those who still attend. An emptyish hall might encourage others to have the strength to leave. SO STAY AWAY!!
There's something else to consider. Anyone who goes to a meeting is asking to be called on at their homes. Elders try and obtain names and addresses for "interested follow-up calls". Don't get into that predicament. STAY AWAY!!
Help keep the numbers from rising in any KH. STAY AWAY!!
Oh, and just in case I haven't made my message clear: STAY AWAY!!

I agree Dansk. Don't give the Tower anything to be optomistic about.

I'll tell you the same thing I told a friend of mine years ago...
Please put on the White robe given to you as you enter the hall, don't be alarmed when the young lamb is led blatting into the hall and up onto the stage.
Bow your head as the prayer is said over the sacraficial dagger and don't worry the lamb doesn't suffer it's dispatched with a very quick motion to it's throat..
You should have seen his eyes get wider and wider as the story went on....
Very boring in comparison though....everyones gets to smell the wine as it's passed around and look at the rice crackers....worried that they'll spill one or the other...the talk twists the scripture to make it seem a reality that Judas was dismissed before Jesus passed the wine and bread even though no account says this and Luke clearly makes it seem he was present for this..they do this to show only the heavenly bound 144000 partake and Judas was not one of them so he must have been dismissed...
That's about it....

jgnat, you should be advised that more than likely NO ONE in the KH will partake of the bread and wine....they just pass it down row to row....and IF anyone should partake, that person will be the object of much suspicion, derision, rumors and gossip from then on....and it will begin just as soon as they do, because that's what everyone does during the passing of the "emblems"....they watch to see if anyone partakes.....the news spreads throughout the KH before the last prayer is muttered.
