You're not alone. There is nothing wrong with 'Frankiespeaks' having any belief he wants or feeling liberated from being a JW. I feel the same way -- liberated. There is this one problem tho'. There are newbies here, there are honest JW lurkers here that are trying to gain strength and knowledge that will (may) help them get out of this insidious religion. I have been trying to think of ways to 'get them here' on this site. I lost nearly everyone I knew and love to this religion. For now that's it, there are people here who are now Buddists, Catholics, even Wiccans. I don't believe in any organised religion, probably never will again. I don't totally agree with your opinion, I do note a very kind person, and so I see where you are coming from and that is one of benevilent concern.

I think it much better not to try to give false impressions, about what XJW are all about, I think it much better within reason,,, to let them see the whole taco.
Because once they leave the WT they can fall into other lying cults, and false hopes they are used to pray on people. If they find this thread offensive they simply can choose not to read it. There are many other thread that they can choice from that may be more in line with their currant interest.
On the topic of the Jeho myth: I think everthing I said about the myth jehovah is true, he's a myth just like Thor, Zeus and the rest of them. In all honesty jehovah is pretty mean, he kills people for petty reasons like when Uzzah tried to stead the Ark and he killed him. That's apretty bad temper if you ask me. He had the Isrealites slaughter whole cities and kill even the babies, that's brutal. If you read about Zeus where he did similar things many of us have no problem saying he's mean, but you can admit the meaness of jehovah. Why because we have been taught to fear his ugly ass.

Come on now, with a title like that even I had to read it. I know it's what you believe and I really have absolutely no problem with that.
But, ya' know if somebody 'new' comes here (and luckily they are) they are hoping to find something that will help, it's OK to have fun with your new freedom. My new wife is always having to reassure me that this or that is OK...I enjoy a lot of new (to me) fun things in my life, things that normal (non-JW) people take for granted.
Would you agree that we want to help as many 'get out' as possible?
I may not agree with this type of joking about Jehovah or Budda...whatever, but I'm pretty strong 'cause I've had the time -- just like you -- to un-brainwash (is that a word?) or deprogram myself with the help of JW-D. Others, just getting here may get scared off...to them the name Jehovah carries a lot of power in their lives.
As far as the violent past history in the Bible...I simply don't know if it's literal or not. But, I've still got a lot to learn, you may be much farther down the road with your deprograming. Congrats...

I have transcended beyond the human run organization know as the WTB&TS or of course, the Borg. I am not under the "covenant of death" that most are. Therefore, I speak with a true knowledge base and I must admit, there is a lot of work to be done with Mankind. Why do you think everyone is being given time to grow and become responsible? Taking human form is bothersome but "WE" do what "WE" are requested to do.
Hebrews 13: 2 ----pretty much should explain it for you. Take care and "WE" will look in on you from time to time.
