WT Library Software

  Yesterday, I installed the 2001 Watchtower Library software on my pc. Suddenly I was not able to view any and all "apostate" sites I had just been to seconds earlier before installing the software, including this forum. Having a gut feeling, I uninstalled the WT Library software, and PRESTO! I could once again access all the afore mentioned sites.

  Question: Could the WTBTS have directed that a program be included in the library software that has the ability to block JW members from viewing "apostate" sites? Could it have been the WTBTS's purpose for writing the library software in the first place, or perhaps, since the technology was available, was it an afterthought to prevent curious or doubting JW members from getting contaminated with "apostate juice"?

  I think I am going to reinstall the software just to see what happens. I will let you know.

  Hunyadi, did you install "Watchtower Firewall 2001" that's on the CD? If so, you'll find you can't visit porn sites either!

  if this is true then they have taken mans free will away.Can one enter into the new order if one can not exercise his free will, choice, and bible trained conscience.

  ok, I reinstalled the software. I have no problem accessing this site with it installed now, so it must have been a fluke or a co-inky-dink.

  I still have yet to see if I can access porn sites . . . I'll let you know.
