I saw parts of the interview on the web, and there is no mention of the WTS.
My dub "friend" here at work who knows practically everyone at Brooklyn Bethel, including GB members, was all praise for Prince "He's so clean cut, such a nice looking man" I said, smirking, that it would have been a golden opportunity to spread the good news. I mean, isn't that what Jehovah wants: a nationwide audience ready to hear whatever Prince wants to say.
Well, she said that he was told not to mention anything religious on air like that. Apparently the big wigs at Brooklyn are afraid of another Michael Jackson fiasco. If Prince starts reverting back to his natural self and is still considered a JW, that's not good public relations for the Watchtower Society. So he's been muzzled.
