    I turned 18 that year. My oldest brother died that year. I started studying with JWs that year. Went to my first summer convention that year. Some good things happened as well, but I think the next year was better for me. Later I loved 1979. I had my daughter. I was still young and hopeful. That spring was a bluebonnet, as in Texas, spring. Oceans of bluebonnets everywhere to welcome my little girl home from the hospital.Texas sunshine. Beautiful weather. *Sigh*

    That year had one of the first memories of a "Birthday", that I recall, because it fell on a Sunday. I made comment of it at the meeting, only to be hushed by an embarrased old "sister".

    Even Scotland was hot, that year
