In some posts I have noticed the mention of smurfs
Was there some publication that I missed from the watchtower that said they were evil??
I know its a silly question but I never knew it was wrong

Just another one of those dumb unspoken rules, anything involving magic is a no-no. Like how some of us couldn't eat Lucky Charms because of the word Lucky and the fact they're "magically" delicious. They must be demonized. No Watchtowers came out and said "The smurfs are evil", just the elders and their undying quest to suck the fun out of every childhood.

The word (gossip) was that a smurf jumped out of a childs arms and ran down the aisle at a neighboring hall. Maybe he didn't like what he was hearing.

lol... I've heard JWs tell me about a little toy smurf coming alive at a meeting and raping a sister.
What makes this really sad is that JWs REALLY believe stories like this!!!

I always heard rumors but never believed them. I also heard a "sister" say that her kids garbage pail kid card was demonized.. apparently the garbage kid jumped out of the card and started to bite her son. I heard this from the source! I guess that family was smoking the hippie lettuce.
