To everybody, i have fallen off the face of the earth. So they dont even know if I am still alive. Its good though...I wouldnt have the guts to answer the door if one did come by to invite.

I am sure it has to do with how long you have been away.

I have been out 20 years; they never bother inviting me....

In my DA letter I left them instructions to not contact me regarding spiritual or biblical matter. Haven't heard from them since.

I really doubt they will visit me..they are afraid of me...

Well it definately comes as no suprize that the Elder`s
or any-one else has not come to visit you or invite you to Jesus Christ`s
Memorial.Having the name Golden Girl obviously has nothing to do with
applying the "Golden Rule"..ie..TREAT OTHER`S HOW YOU WISH TO BE TREATED.
[judging from your other posts].

I doubt if theres a single person in this forum that doen`t know about
your "hubby"( you`ve been banging-on about it since you got here!)And
I`m positive we all have sympathy for HIM.Even to a complete moron,
it`s obvious that by you keep mentioning it, that your just digging
for sympathy; for your- self. But how on Earth can you exspect any, if
you treat other`s so offensively? No, they are not frightend of you as
you obviously desire. It`s just that you come-across as being a very
nasty, embittered (old) woman.Which may or may-not be the case.
I suggest you start reading about Jesus Christ`s teachings,especially
on how to treat others.And once you start applying His teaching`s in
your daily life, you will not only feel better in your-self, but will
find other`s showing you love in return.You will be happy and other`s
will be happy to know you. There`s` an old saying-" birds of a feather
flock together", This is not a bleeding hearts forum, or a forum for
bitter/twisted male-hating women or people with a huge chip on their
shoulder, although there may be the odd ones ofcourse. But a dissusion
forum for Jehovah`s witnesses (ex- mainly).
99% of witnesses are rally nice people, either ex-witnesses or practicing.
These are people drawn
by their love of God, His son or their fellow man.These people are the
salt of the Earth, caring,kind,sinere,honest,loving and affectionate.
That`s what makes this dissusion forum so wonderful.It`s a haven,a place
to come together without race,nationality or social-class( rich/poor or
educated/un-educated) etc.. getting in the way.
To share their sufferings,loss,knowlage,wit,
experiances and make good friends all over the planet.
It`s very easy to hate or be nasty, but takes a tiny bit of effot to be
nice,kind and loving. Obviously if a person wollows in self-pity or
bitterness they will only come up covered in muck....dive into humour,
and you will come out laughing. There`s plenty of humour here, try it
and you will be able to face your nightmare a lot easier and things
won`t seem so dark,desperate,lonely or depressing.And again, people
will warm to you,help you through the nightmare your going through,
but you must stop rubbing peoples faces in your problems first.If you
don`t agree with me, then ask other`s here. Start a new thread even.

Yesturday afternoon, there was a knock on my door.On opening it,I was confronted by two
witnesses I know from my old congregation, which I haven`t attended for
a few years now.One was a middle-aged old-bag who`s an Elder`s wife.She`s
short and fat, bit like a female version of Luciano Pavarotti... her butt
starts at the back of her neck...[she would make a great burglar, as her
ass would rub-out her foot-prints..!!!].She had her best sickly-sweet
Kingdom Hall smile on, which you know will dissapear instantly the
moment you turn your back.But if you quickly swing back around on her,
it flashs back at lightning-speed. Once I saw her off guard; She has
a face like a Bull dog chewing a Bumble-bee...!

Brother Brown-[Nose]standing beside her, is in his very early twenties,
he`s very tall and skinny,[ he has to run around the shower to get wet!]
It came as no suprize he was working with her; he`s obviously not changed,
Still ass-lickin` his way to the top as usal. He`s an Elder, probably out to be
the next C.O. Then up the ladder to Distric Overseer;on to the Governing
body then on to ? (God..???)
He handed me a small leaflet, inviting me to the memorial.Yeah-right...
I can just see myself returning there.Apart from any-thing else, I can
clearly remember him saying to me when I was a witness; " I can`t stand
the way these people only turn-up for the memorial,C.Os visit and wed-
dings"...he had real detestment and hatred in the voice.

I politely took the leaflet from him and said I`d like to have a chat
with him some-time.To which he quickly made arrangments to call back
later that evening.Great! I had a couple of hours the prepair how to
REALLY sock-it to them.... So I quickly started a thread here asking
others here if they would like me to ask them a question.
Because of the time zone, I only got three posts before the JWs
returned.A brilliant post about 607BCE and a download thread with
plenty to use as ammo.
I opened by saying;- My witness perants from the late 50`s would
always tell me how they looked forward to the assemblies when " New
Truth`s" would come out in the main public talks on Sunday afternoon,
or in a new book release.Or getting all excited about a " New under-
standing"..." New Light". Once they studied the new Watchtower on the
new understanding, the old DOCTRINE would become " old light".
I was taught that Jehovah God is perfect.So obviously His Holy Spirit
must also be perfect as it`s part of Him and from Him.And God can not
lie.Also I was taught that ALL Watchtower publictions are writen by
the Faithful Discreet Slave class ( food at the proper time) who are
guided by Jehovah God, by His Holy Spirit.....
So how can God`s Holy Spirt keep stateing some-thing, then a few years
later, change or reverse it? that`s lying... (Generation/organ trans-
plants and hundreds of others.WHOLE books are now "old light").MANY
people have died following old doctrines....old light.

I then used the questions posted on my thread about Judge Ruderfords
books etc..Then about the 607BCE cock-up and about how I wouldn`t
feel safe knowing theres thousands of paedo`s in the JW ranks etc..
Any-way, they left quickly because one of their wife`s isn`t well.
I managed to place some witnessing material with them before they
left, a CD-ROM of Compton Encyclopaedia so they could check-up
on the 607BCE question.But no-doubt it was binned as Apostate
material. I though, kept my promise the read the magazines they
left me yesturday evening.
I was up all nite with a REALLY BAD dose of the quirts...[after
looking at the articals in the Awake! magazine..] By morning,
my ass looked like that map on the beginning of Bananza......

Hi everyone,

I am new to the post and just have left the borg 3 months ago. My father-in-law invited us to go to the Memorial and my husband told him that none of us would be there. He was sad but he just has to get used to it. My mother asked me last week if I was attending the Memorial and I told her "No." She took it better than I thought since this will be my first time not attending the Memorial. I was very nervous about telling her but now I am very relieved.

WELCOME to the forum.I`m sure you well really enjoy your self here,and make lots of new friends here.One of the great things about it here is that you will gather the strenght to face problems from family, the Elder`s and other witnesses.If there`s any-thing you wish to get personal attention with,I suggest you start your own thread by thinking of a catchy sentence and post. You will then get posts from other people in the same bout as yourself. It`s also good to have communication once again with the out-side world,after being cut off from it, and because you we told not to have associtions, no-doudt you haven`t that many friends now.This very common with people leaving the Troof.But please rest assured,we here already regard you as a friend...part of the family.Please do me a quick favour.Go to the opening page and start a thread saying some-thing like " Newbee says Hi ". No no one invited me. I was disfellowshipped, so I don't think anyone will ever be inviting me. My mother did call and ask if I was going. She seems to be having a hard time grasping the fact that I will never return to the JW's. I told her last year I wasn't going to the memorial and repeatedly over the last year I've told her I have no intentions of making any steps towards rejoining the JW's. But she doesn't bother me about it too often.

um sparks...golden girl has the right to talk about her experience and if she needs a sympathetic ear then it is not your place to percieve her motives.. You insist on being ugly and judgemental.
