In particular Orlando where I'll be June 19 - July 3 (yes i'm getting out of town before 4th July )
Apart from the obvious theme parks where else is good to visit?

Florida is beautiful. I've only been there once but I loved it. Daytona Beach is nice if you watch out for jellyfish...LOL! I collected alot of seashells there. Have fun!

Miami Beach ( specifically the South Beach section) and the Floriday Keyes; take a drive down to Key West. The West Coast along the Gulf is more subdued than the East Coast.

Orlando is centrally located -- meaning far from either coast (Gulf or Atlantic) and super hot that time of year. Try going to a water park like Wet N Wild, or go get splashed by Shamu at Sea World.

And skip the Central Florida Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. It's not very interesting watching them assemble and put together Jehovah's Witnesses.

You're only 5 hours away from Jst2laws and Joyzabel and 8 hours from New Orleans.
Hire a car. It's essential.
You can overtake in any lane, not just the outside one. You can also turn right at traffic lights even when they show red!
Stay clear of Mc Donalds and Burger King, they're identical to the UK ones.
Sea food is really inexpensive, although it's all from warmer waters so not as tasty as UK fish.
Visit the factory oulets in International Drive, Orlando for really good cheap clothes.
Psst! They have rotweillers working as immigration officials at the port of entry, keep your cool.
