Okay, let me get this straight then. This is how the JWs believe the dates go according to the scriptures.

    Matt 24:34-35 - Armageddon

    Matt 24:45-47 - 1919

    Matt 25:14-30 - Armageddon

    Matt 25:31 - 1914

    Matt 25:32-33 - Armageddon

Maybe, just maybe, Jesus here might be talking about the same parable. That he will come when nobody is expecting it. Nice how The Society fits the scripture to match whatever they want it to say.

Forgot to add this. If the Faithful and Discreet Slave is supposed to be the annointed ones, why don't the rest of the 144,000 have a say in anything? Shouldn't we be going to them and asking them for guidance? Instead, are they saying that the Faithful and Discreet Slave "CLASS" (I love how they add class) is only made up of the Governing Body? Okay, get it over with. Just shoot me now.

vigilante.....You might like this post of mine which explains how the Faithful and Wise Servant parable is based on a famous OT personage:

I also note that in the parable the glorification of the faithful servant (by granting him authority over all the lord's domain) is something that comes after the lord's return, and a return that is not characterized by an indefinite invisible presence but one that is paralleled in another promise by Jesus, that "at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." "You may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Matthew 19:28; Luke 22:30). It is in this role as co-judgers on the day of Judgment (cf. also Daniel 7:9, 13-14, Revelation 4:4, 20:4, b. Sanhedrin 38b; Tan. B Leviticus 7) that the apostles are "appointed over the lord's belongings".

Thanx for the reply everyone. It is sad that men (especially the Governing Body) busy themselves so much with prophesying and figuring out the prophetic meaning behind each and every scripture. We are of course supposed to just love one another and God. That's it. Plain and simple. Yet, I guess the Society doesn't want to do such an act for it would go against everything they believe. "Why would God give love to everyone, I don't get it. Everyone should die, except me of course, cause I'm perfect."

Well, although loving God and thy neighbor is the only thing that should matter, we still have to contend with the witnesses and groups like them. So, til then, I'm going to keep reading my scriptures and at least prove that the Society is wrong. While still loving them of course.

Oh and Agent 1of1. Try to stay away from lead candles.
