omg, I cannot believe there's anyone that would vote for huff. He seems like a cool person and he has an awesome personality (and I love his bouncing act, haha). But he's got to be the absolute worst singer I've ever heard.

    But apparently I'm a minority :)

    Flower,

I left the closet a while back! I love Harry Connick, Jr's music! That's why I initially liked John. Jennifer was good, but c'mon, she SHOULD have been with that song ("Circle of Life"). Before American Idol, she spent six months performing on a Disney cruise ship. She probably sang it every night!

On a side note, if you like Harry Connick, Jr., you'll probably like the new CD from Josh Groban. Only a few songs are in English, but it's awesome. I wish I spoke Italian.

PS. I don't know who my favorite is, but John is going to make it big. You know why he did better in the beginning? Because he was being himself and wasn't letting anyone change him. Simon saw that in him, but eventually he allowed the others to get to him, and attempted to be what they wanted him to be. Then they go and complain that he changed after they told him to!

I'm hoping by next week he comes back to being himself, that's the only thing that will carry him through. I don't think he has a chance in winning this thing, but he's got a career already - he'll be ok.

I also like Jennifer Hudson. She did a terrific job singing the theme from the Lion King last night. Gave me goosebumps!

Me too. Jennifer was so good! Interesting comment about her singing that song on the Disney Cruises. That may have been a factor all right. She was great. I also really like George, Jasmine and LaToya.

I was worried Jasmine would be voted off tonight, but was pretty sure it was going to be Camille. That poor kid. She is good, but just can't conquer her nerves and get it together.

I don't know what the deal is with John Stevens. He seems to be a nice kid, but was terrible last night. I do think the critique that Simon gives often works the opposite of how you would think it would. He was brutal with John and he wasn't in the bottom three. He may have gotten sympathy votes.

I for one can't watch this obscene show that willingly violates broadcast standards. Why just a couple of weeks ago Simon Cowell was flipping fellow judges the finger and all of us, the audience. In fact I called the FCC today to complain about such indecent behavior. They sent me this email so that I can write a formal complaint. I hope you will all join me in making sure garbage like the American Idol doesn't stay on our airwaves. Save our children.

Yep that's Simon Cowell all right!

Ban American Idol from FOX TV. We need more of their "wholesome" programming -- lemme think -- like OC, Boston Public, Arrested Development, King of the Hill, MAD TV, That 70s Show, Malcolm in the Middle, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance and of course that 'wholesome' cartoon family The Simpsons.

Yep there's plenty of more wholesome TV on FOX than Simon Cowell and his American Idol.

Just ban "US or UK Pop Idol" completely and do the whole wide world a favour. Utter, utter, junk.

The bottom three in my opinion should have been

John Peter, ..John Stevens, .. and Camille.

I only seen the last 5 minutes of the results show last night..

When I tuned in I saw Jasmine and Camille as the last two..

Who was the third one in the bottom three?

    ...

It amazes me that John Stevens keeps going through. He has sung horribly, the worst the past two weeks with "my girl" and "Crocodile Rock"..He slaughtered the crocodile on that one and was just horrible on My Girl.

Camille, sweet.. but as (i think Mulan) said. the nerves were just too much for her. She would have been eventually voted off

Jasmine has held well each week except this one. The song was definitely the wrong one for her.

Elton John said he felt . that Jennifer Hudson was the best of the whole bunch.

Somewhere through it all I hope the public starts voting for singing ability and not cute-ish John boy walton types who can't sing. Time will tell.

    sincerely

I missed the Tuesday show and tried to catch up last night. I would like to have seen them try Elton's songs. I did catch highlights. The group-sing of Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting was certainly on-key but their movements looked goofy.

The dude named John didn't sound very good to me when I did hear bits of the songs he performed.

Jasmine has held well each week except this one.

She said last night that she had been suffering with laryngitis and tonsilitis.

Who was the third one in the bottom three?

Diana DeGarmo was the third one in the bottom three, and she had also been ill.
